45 - C'mon In

45 - C'mon In

September 6th, 2010

Oops, I forgot to throw this image up before sleep time last night. It's a three day weekend for my roommate, so it feels like Sunday today, and yesterday felt like Saturday.

There are two different things about this page. This one was the first comic page fully done with the new tablet, so from here on in I think things may have a slightly different style. (the light sources are taking a very drastic change too, so that may account for something)

And the second different thing about this pic is that its one of two of a two-page spread. Never done it before, and I think it's kind of neat to do. In webcomic format, not so epic feeling though.

Just an FYI, next week will only be a single update again. At this moment I'm 3.5 weeks ahead. That just doesn't feel like a good enough buffer. So please pardon the future lapse in schedule.

44 - Call Me Sergei

44 - Call Me Sergei

September 2nd, 2010

On my usual rounds of boosting my deflated ego, I went through links that lead to Altermeta, and I can't help but come across TV Tropes and get wrapped up in a) Clicking the Random button (unless you got a LOT of time to kill, don't do it!), and b) Looking at entries and things people say about AM here on TV Tropes. (for me, using Tropes is a sport of some kind. It's like a Where's Waldo of storytelling devices)

I had to laugh out loud when I noticed the addition to AM's entry on Furry Comics. The 2/3rds true part, with the strike-thru on the 1/3 really amused me. ^^

I'm also really pleased at the description in general, because that is what I aim for. My next challenge (maybe after this story arc) would be to make it 3 out of 3, 100% true, and at the same time keep that same wholesome description that the comic has earned.

\o/ Yaaaay.

43 - Mister Alexain

43 - Mister Alexain

August 30th, 2010

Oh gee garsh. Who did not see that one coming? Oh my. They are at Sasha's house.

And now for my current most fave youtube video ever and has been for a while..
EXTREME TOOTHBRUSHING.

What? Nobody reads this down here anyways.

42 - Doorstep

42 - Doorstep

August 26th, 2010

11 pages.
Question that might get asked on this one: Did Ruth's dad just leave him?

Nope. I just felt like inserting a splash page here, of Ruth standing on the sidewalk. I thought on adding some text to this page, like "Part II" or a second title page, but eh.. nothing has happened to warrant that kind of "intro" page to any separated parts in the arc. But then this is honestly a second part, a second chapter if you will. More will definitely be revealed in the next update..

Going to give fair warning now, this is going to be a really, really boring arc..

41 - It's a Habit

41 - It's a Habit

August 23rd, 2010

Ruth and that mug.. He really needs help with that habit.

Just making a reminder in case it got passed up, but just FYI, there is a Characters Page.
